Retirees are important members of the Xcel Energy network. The company and Xcel Energy Foundation offer a variety of ways for our alumni to stay engaged. From volunteering at Day of Service to supporting the Power Your Purpose Giving Campaign, our retirees help sustain the company’s legacy of staying committed and connected to our communities.

Matching Gifts
The Foundation matches retiree donations to eligible 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations and educational institutions dollar-for-dollar.

Giving Campaign
Each fall retirees participate in the Giving Campaign by donating to causes they care about. Retiree campaign contributions are matched dollar for dollar to the local United Way.
